Sarah Beth is continuing to do well. In fact, she has had two small bottles of apple juice so far. It seems that she has figured out a way to suck on the bottle so that it is not as painful to her. She is trying to suck her thumb, but is not happy about how it feels.
Being a big eater, she is making it very plain that the clear liquid diet she is restricted to is just not cutting it. She will be on clear liquids until tomorrow and then we can introduce soft foods like pudding and Jell-O.
I have taken a few photos of her with Melissa and the kids. I will post some of them when we get home tomorrow (that is the plan according to the doctors since she is drinking).
Thank you for your prayers...they have been felt and much appreciated.

Come on Chad, didn't you and Doug do that liquid diet before you celebrated at the Shoney's breakfast bar several years ago? Glad to hear little girl is doing well.
Wow eating and drinking already?!! Sounds like she is doing very well. Praying for a speedy recovery!

We're rejoicing that the Lord is hearing our prayers! I'm so thankful that He has made Sarah Beth so strong for moments like this. :) We're praying that you all have a peaceful night of sleep and that Lord willing you'll be released early.
